PSFCA Big 33 Announces 2025 Girls Flag Football Rosters For Upcoming Big 33 Memorial Day Weekend Tournament

In Partnership with the Commanders, Eagles, Ravens, Steelers and NFL Flag Football, Big 33 will hold the Girls Flag Tournament on May 24 and May 25, 2025 in Cumberland County, Pa.

The Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association (PSFCA) is proud to announce the return of the Big 33 Girls Flag Football Tournament as part of the 68th Big 33 Football Classic. Following last year’s groundbreaking debut, the 2nd Annual Big 33 Girls Flag Football Tournament will take place May 24–25, 2025, at Cumberland Valley High School’s Eagle View Middle School and Chapman Field in Cumberland County, PA.

High school girls flag football teams representing the Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Washington Commanders will once again compete for the Big 33 Girls Flag Championship. Each team has chosen a roster consisting of 22 high school female athletes, selected through competitive tryouts, along with multiple high school coaches to represent each of the four NFL markets.

We are proud to announce the official rosters for the 2025 Big 33 Girls Flag Football Tournament on our website (www.big33.org) and we are excited to continue expanding opportunities for female athletes through this growing sport.

“Last year we witnessed the first of-its-kind for flag football when the BIG 33 elected to add girls’ flag to their event,” said Bobby Taylor, NFL Legend and Global Flag Football Ambassador. “Seeing girls flag football become an official part of this staple event for the Pennsylvania and Maryland regions showcases the growth of girls flag football throughout the nation. This year, I expect to see the momentum continue for girls flag football at the BIG 33.”

The two-day round robin tournament will kick off on Saturday, May 24, with games at Eagle View Middle School. Saturday’s games are free and open to the public. The Tournament Round 3 Games and Championship Game will take place on Sunday, May 25, prior to the 68th Big 33 Football Classic. Sunday’s games require a ticket, and a Girls Flag ticket also grants access to the Big 33 Football Classic, giving fans an exciting full day of football action.

Tim Quinn, head coach of the Eagles girls flag football team, praised the significance of the opportunity, “The PSFCA has gone out of its way to provide a once-in-a-lifetime, professional athletic experience for young women in flag to take part in the most historic high school all-star game in the country.” As a dedicated leader in growing girls flag football in Pennsylvania, Coach Quinn continues to be a driving force in elevating the sport and advocating for expanded opportunities for young female athletes.

The PSFCA Big 33 Memorial Day Weekend officially begins Wednesday, May 21, and concludes on Sunday, May 25, with the 68th Big 33 Football Classic presented by Renewal by Andersen of Central PA. Practices and pre-game events for football players and cheerleaders from Pennsylvania and Maryland will take place at Chapman Field at Cumberland Valley High School.

Big 33 is widely recognized as one of the premier high school football all-star events in the nation. The game has produced countless NFL legends, including Joe Namath, Joe Montana, Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Tony Dorsett, and current stars like Ben Roethlisberger, Damar Hamlin, Kyle Brady, Garry Gilliam, Jordan Hill, and Ricky Watters.

“We’re proud to once again team up with the NFL to highlight the growth of girls flag football on this incredible platform,” said Garry Cathell, Executive Director of the Big 33. “This tournament is more than just a game – it’s a celebration of opportunity, talent, and the bright future of girls flag football in our region. These athletes earned their spot through hard work and dedication, and now they’ll have the chance to shine on one of the biggest stages in high school football.”

The weekend also highlights the beloved Big 33 Buddy Program, pairing individuals with special needs with Big 33 players and cheerleaders. Buddies take part in team bonding, pre-game activities, and the halftime performance—creating unforgettable experiences.
