YWCA Greater Harrisburg to Receive 130 Blanket And Sheet Sets From Renewal By Andersen Central PA

WHAT: Renewal by Andersen of Central PA is sharing the love this Valentine’s Day by helping to support women and children being served by the YWCA Greater Harrisburg through donations of essential daily living items including more than 130 blanket and sheet sets for those currently living at the YWCA.

WHY: On any given night, more than 100 women and children are staying at the YWCA Greater Harrisburg. Most are homeless or are fleeing domestic violence or human trafficking. One of the most needed items at the YWCA’s shelter is twin bedding, including sheets and blankets. In honor of Valentine’s Day, Renewal by Andersen of Central PA is spreading the love by donating 130 blankets and sheet sets to the YWCA’s shelter and housing programs, helping these women and children as they enter a new phase of their lives.

“We can’t think of a greater gift than sharing our love along with a helping hand to others in great need. We encourage individuals, businesses and other organizations to help support the YWCA and all of the women and families they serve,” said Linda Johnston, Chief Culture Officer, Renewal by Andersen of Central PA.
