Farabaugh has a faithful following of avid fans who enjoy her original and relatable music, her unique powerhouse rasp mixed with her high-energy shows, positive vibes, and uplifting messages that fill the hearts of her listeners and gives them a space to escape the real world for a few hours.

“I’m excited to share my new album and first single right here in Central Pennsylvania, the heart of my home state, where I’ve been blessed with so much love and support, musical inspiration, and impactful experiences,” says Farabaugh. “The music of the Transparent album is a compilation of songs influenced by my own life experiences and with stories shared with me by others on social media. My hope is that everyone enjoys and finds encouragement in my new music, plus it is also going to support a great cause that’s near and dear to me, Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome or CIRS,” she added.

Farabaugh’s undeniable passion for using her music to its fullest, connects her beyond fans, to various charitable causes. A percentage of this album’s music sales will be donated to the CIRS Support Fund to bring hope and financial assistance to U.S. residents who think that they are experiencing CIRS.

“My journey with CIRS has been one of my biggest personal challenges in many aspects between finding the correct diagnosis after years of searching, to tackling the financial and emotional challenges. Because the challenges are so great and vast in dealing with CIRS, caused many times from being exposed to black mold like in my case from a rental home, I want to help others going through this by spreading education and resources.”

“My personal journey along with the stories and experiences told to me by others on social media when writing the music for this album, became part of the narrative throughout all of my new music.  It is a reminder how the power of music can create a beautiful sense of community, even having the ability to break down walls we put up online and in life,” Farabaugh shares.

Farabaugh’s music creates an atmosphere you can get lost in with influences from Miranda Lambert and Brothers Osborn to Jack Johnson and Norah Jones.

From the beginning of Farabaugh’s music career, she was fortunate being a Contestant on Season 10 of NBC’s “The Voice,” and has opened for amazing artists, including Rodney Atkins, Chris Janson, Mitchell Tenpenny, Trent Harmon, Levi Hummon, Dylan Scott and more. She has been nominated for Best Female Country Artist, Songwriter of the Year, as well as her single, ”Body Will Break”, being nominated for Song of the Year at the 2021 Central Pennsylvania Music Awards. She was also named 2019 and 2020’s Best Solo Artist by the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame, and she won the 2018 WIOV Radio Showdown Competition, and 2016’s Central Pennsylvania Nash Next radio contest.

She is now living in her tiny house in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband Caden and adorable dog Tank, using her music to not only lift the hearts of those around her, but also to raise awareness of CIRS and the importance of mental health. She has teamed up with a nonprofit, Malachi’s Message, to start the CIRS Support Fund to help individuals with CIRS get education and treatment. This fund will be driven by outside donations, an annual music fest and a percentage of the sales from Olivia’s new album, “Transparent.”

The Story About Her New Single “Righteous Dollar Bill:”

The first single of Olivia Farabaugh’s debut album, Transparent, is a JAM! It’s a perfect blend of country, rock, blues and soul, just like the entire album she recorded. When Farabaugh first moved to Nashville, her music started getting swayed in different directions. She began questioning the direction her music was being pushed towards. During the beginning of the creative process for the Transparent album, she discovered this bible verse, Mathew 16:26: “And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?” Farabaugh realized God didn’t put music in her heart, help lead her husband and herself to move to Nashville from Pennsylvania just for her to be something or someone she’s not. She believes He created her to be unique and to follow her intuition to create the sound that is truly “Olivia”. That night she wrote this new song. The man she refers to in this song was the devil trying to weasel his way into her life and her music career. Instead of listening to people trying to change her look and sound, she allowed God into her heart to lead her in her daily life and stay true to herself. This song was written by Farabaugh and co-produced by Mitch Dane in Nashville, TN at Sputnik Sound.

Background on Farabaugh’s Love of Singing and Playing Guitar:

As a young girl, Farabaugh began singing in the church choir. Her passion for music led to her taking up guitar the summer going into fourth grade. When she began playing the guitar, her songwriting just came along with it. The first time she performed in front of a crowd was at her fifth-grade talent show, singing “There She Goes” by Sixpence None the Richer and the microphone started to fall down. It eventually fell off the stand, hitting her in the knee and rolled across the stage. But, Farabaugh just kept on singing and playing her guitar until her kind friend came and put the mic back on the stand. That day, Farabaugh stresses she learned the lesson to never stop singing!
