PSFCA and Dauphin County Commissioners to announce the 2020 big 33 football classic’s Pennsylvania roster and east/west teams plus cheerleading squads

WHAT:
Pennsylvania’s 38-member Big 33 team will be announced along with the Pennsylvania and Maryland Cheer Teams for the 63rd Football Classic. The Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association’s (PSFCA) Big 33 game will be played on Monday, May 25 at Central Dauphin School District’s Landis Field in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County. Kickoff is 2 p.m. with Pre-Game fun, family and military events planned, starting in the morning.

Under the leadership of the Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association, the Dauphin County Commissioners are partnering to support the PSFCA Big 33 Football Classic, that has also been described as the “Super Bowl of High School Football,” and has been played since 1957.  For more information, go to www. big33.org or follow them on Facebook @Big33FootballClassic, Instagram @PFSCABig33FootballClassic or on Twitter @psfcabig33. Money raised from the game helps support the Big 33 Buddy Program which connects kids with special needs with all-star athletes in football, cheerleading and beyond. Military and veteran-themed events are also a big part of the holiday celebration. Once again, military and veterans get free admission this year!

In addition to the PSFCA Big 33 Game, NEW sports events will be announced for the holiday weekend that already generates nearly $3 million annually for the Central PA economy.
