Matt Flinchbaugh, who has served Central PA customers for decades at Flinchy’s and Home Slice at Walden, will realize his dream of expanding his popular bar and restaurant repertoire with the addition of a new Brewery. High Road Brewing Company will offer two locations, the first opening next week, serving up craft beers, hand-crafted cocktails, PA preferred wines and spirits.
Flinchbaugh’s first location is set to open Thanksgiving Eve at 146 Walden Way in Charter Homes & Neighborhoods’ Walden community in Mechanicsburg. High Road Taproom will feature food items served by Flinchy’s, Home Slice and other Walden restaurants. Customers can enjoy indoor and outdoor seating and new craft brews pouring from twelve taps.
“We are blessed with a huge following of beer connoisseurs, and owning a Brewery in my hometown has been a dream for years,” says Flinchbaugh. “I’m familiar with this community and am excited to offer customers quality craft beers along with fresh locally grown and produced foods in a relaxing family-friendly atmosphere,” he added.
In addition to High Road Taproom, Flinchbaugh says he’s excited to see his new Brewery in Camp Hill Borough come to fruition through a partnership with Neighbors & Smith at 1801 Market Street. High Road Brewing Company will showcase an innovative menu that is still in development. However, the new menu will offer small plates and shareables made with fresh PA preferred ingredients, as well as include some of the existing favorites from Flinchy’s and Home Slice.
A spacious outdoor patio is planned to greet patrons along with indoor dining spaces on three levels, a two-sided bar with garage doors that will open into the restaurant, a take-out area, private dining spaces and mezzanine overlooking Camp Hill Borough. “We are excited to create a live brewery where you can watch our brewmaster create some of Central PA’s best craft beers in a new and distinctive atmosphere.”
Neighbors & Smith at 1801 Market Street in Camp Hill is Central Pennsylvania’s newest neighborhood retail and office location.
